8k (4.97mi) Run – 9:00 AM Start Time
The course has been accurately measured starting and finishing at the Utepils Brewing Co.. All participants will receive one beer or root beer (Kids) made by The Utepils Brewing Company! This is a timed Run!!!!
2 Mile Walk/Run - 9:15 AM Start Time
Once the 8K starts, we will fire the gun for the 2 mile Walk/Run. Families are encourged to sign up for the 2 Mile. To save money we have provided a seperate price for Kids 12 & Under! The 2 milers will head out one mile, turn around, then head back to the Utepils Brewing Company. The 2 mile Run/Walk are for those who want to be part of the festivities, but do not want to do the 8K. This is a fun Run, we will not keep track of your time. We will have a display clock for you that are interested in your own 2 mile time!
Walk-up Registration & Packet Pick-up will be available from 4:00PM - 7:00 PM on Friday October 21st at the Utepils Brewing Company Taproom in Minneapolis, MN. Race day packet pick-up and registration will be available starting at 6:30 AM at the Utepils Brewing Company Taproom the morning of the event.

Q – When is the Utepils 8K Run/Walk & 2 Mile Run/Walk??
A - The 8k run & walk will start at 9:00 AM, with the 2 mile Walk?Run starting at 9:15 AM on October 22, 2016.
Q- Where will the Utepils 8K Run/Walk & 2 Mile Run/Walk take place?
A – Both events will take place at the Utepils Brewing Company 225 Thomas Ave North, Minneapolis, MN 55405
Q – How will I know my time?
A – The 8K Run & Walk will be timed. The 2 Mile Run/Walk is a fun run, and will not be timed. We will have a time clock displayed, for you to keep your own time for the 2 Miler.
Q - What is included in my registration?
A – Runners will receive a custom designed Utepils 8K & 2 mile T-shirt, beverages, snacks and TONS of give aways, and other great after race refreshments, including a free beer after the events.
Q- When is packet pick-up?
A - From 4:00 PM -7:00 PM on Friday, October 22, 2016 at The Utepils Brewing Company 225 Thomas Ave North, Minneapolis, MN. You can also pick-up your packet and register also at the Utepils Brewing Company on the day of the race starting at 6:30 AM
Q - How can I pay for registration @ packet pick-up, at packet pick-up or on race day?
A - On packet pick-up day (Oct 21st) and race day registration (Oct 22nd), we will accept cash, checks, or major credit cards.
Q - Are there any prizes?
A -Yes, there will be a prize drawing during the awards ceremony (Gift Cards etc...) Must be present to win
Q - Can I run with my dog?
A - SoleMOTION loves dogs, Although the Mpls Parks & Rec have rules not allowing dogs. So no dogs or other pets :-(.
Q - Can I push my baby jogger?
A - Yes, we ask that you line up towards the back at the start, so you are not blocking runners.
Q - Will my son or daughter receive a t-shirt when registering for the 2 Mile Run/Walk? (12 & under)
A - Yes, the kids will be recieving a custom made Utepils 8K Run/Walk & 2 Mile Run/Walk family friendly t-shirt!
