Salute Our Veterans 5K & Kids Run
​
5k Walk/Run – 9:00 AM start time
The course has been accurately measured around beautiful Three Rivers Park District, Carver Park Reserve (Parley Lake Picnic Area)
Kids 1/4 Mile Fun Run – 10:30 AM start time
Once the 5K is complete, we will fire the gun for the kids 1/4 mile run. This run will not be officially timed, although a display clock will show time. Parents are welcome to run with their son or daughter.

Part of the proceeds from this event will go to Flags & Honor a non profit 501c organization out of Chaska, MN. Flags & Honor help local Veterans and their families.

Q – When is the Salute Our Veterans 5K Run/Walk & Kids Run?
A - The 5k run & walk will start at 9:00 AM August 5, 2017. The Kids Fun Run will start at 10:30 AM
Q- Where will the Salute Our Veterans 5K Run/Walk & Kids Run take place?
A – Both events will take place at Three Rivers Park District, Carver Park Reserve (Parley Lake Picnic Area), 8100 Grimm Road, Waconia, MN 55387

Q - Is there a Veterans Discount?
A - YES, Veterans will save $5.00. Veterans ONLY (You are on the Honor System) :-)

Q - Can I walk the 5K?
A - Of Course WALKERS are welcome!! 40% of participants will be walkers!
Q - What is included in my registration?
A – Runners will receive a custom designed Salute Our Veterans 5K T-shirt,( Kids will receive a short sleeve shirt), beverages, snacks and TONS of give aways, and other great after race refreshments!!!
Q- When is packet pick-up?
A - From 4:00 PM -7:00 PM on Friday, August 4, 2017 at (Site to be determined) You can also pick-up your packet and register also at the Parley Lake Picnic Area on the day of the race starting at 7:30 AM
Q - How can I pay for registration @ packet pick-up, and registration the day of the of the event?
A - On packet pick-up day and race day registration, we accept credit cards, checks, or cash!
Q - Are there prizes?
A - We will give prizes to the first overall Male & Female Finishers! The we will have a HUGE Prize Drawing at 11:30 AM. You Must Be Present to Win!!
Q - Can I push my baby jogger?
A - Yes, we ask that you line up towards the back at the start, so you are not blocking runners.
Q - Will my son or daughter receive a t-shirt when registering for the kids Run?
A - Yes, the kids will be receiving a custom made Salute Our Veterans Kids Run t-shirt!

Q - Can I exchange my shirt if I ordered the wrong size?
A - Please wait until the end of the 5K to see if we have extra shirts available to trade
