ILLUMINIGHT 5K/10K is an evening run/walk with an emphasis on FUN!!! ILLUMINIGHT will start just prior to dusk and finish as the sun goes down. We are adding a 10K to the event list this year. Both the 5k & 10k will be timed events. Whether you are walker, jogger or a competitive runner, the energy of this event will spark an exciting running experience.
Bring your crazy costumes, glow wear and flashy lights to ILLUMINIGHT 5K/10K and illuminate the night. “Stretch Out” with some dancing and singing to get ready for this glowfully fun event. . “Warm Down” after the run/walk with some more dancing and singing while enjoying the entertainment.
All participants will receive a custom designed ILLUMINIGHT 5K t-shirt along with glow bling to help you get your glow on. We are adding a kids registration this year at a reduced rate, so the kids can get their "Glow" on as well.
The 3rd Annual ILLUMINIGHT 5K/10K Jordan is brought to you in part by the Jordan Area Chamber Of Commerce. This great civic organization will be working hard to help deliver a fun, safe and exciting event for you. A portion of the profits will go to support the Chambers civic projects . soleMOTION Race Management excited to partner with the Jordan Area Chamber Of Commerce in delivering an awesome ILLUMINIGHT 5K/10K.

Q – When is the FM 'Burn the Bird' Thanksgiving Day Run?
A – The 5K run/walk and 10K run is scheduled for Thursday, November 24, 2016 (Thanksgiving Day). The 5K run/walk & 10K run will start at 8:30 AM
Q- Where will the FM Burn the Bird' Thanksgiving Day Run take place?
A – The start-line is located on the North side of the Fercho YMCA 200 1st Ave South, Fargo, ND. The route runs South through the Hawthorne School neighborhood and will turn around and return on the same route. The 5K & 10K will both finish at the Fercho YMCA.
Q – How will I know my time?
A – Both races will be chip timed with results posted on our website. For those of you that DO NOT want to be timed, you can make that choice when you register. There will be a display clock at the finish line for you to check your time.
Q - What is included in my registration?
A – Runners will receive a custom designed running T-shirt and fruit, drinks and other snacks back at the YMCA
Q-Is there a packet pickup?
A- Packets will be available on Wednesday, November 23rd at the Fercho YMCA from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM. The day of the run packet pickup will be at the Fercho YMCA from 6:45 AM – 8:15 AM.
Q- Can I register the day of the event?
A- Yes, we will have walk-up registration at the YMCA on both Wednesday and Thursday during packet pickup. You will need either cash or check.
Q – Can I run with my pet?
A - We ask people with dogs to line up near the back and make sure to clean up after them.
Q - Is this a handicap friendly event?
A - Yes, the race is handicap friendly. Wheelchairs, both manual and electric are welcome. Please position yourself near the back to ensure safety for all participants.
Q - Will there be showers available after the race?
A - Yes, the Fercho YMCA will provide showers.
Q - Will there be awards?
A - Yes, we will provide awards for the top 3 men and women in both the 5k & 10k. We will post age group results for both events as well. To get people back to their families for dinners, we will not have an awards ceremony, and will mail the awards out and post the winners

5K Route Map
The start-line is located on the North side of the Fercho YMCA 200 1st Ave South, Fargo, ND. The route runs South through the Hawthorne School neighborhood toward River road where it will turn around and return in the same direction. The run/walk will finish at the Fercho YMCA where it started.
10K Route Map
The start-line is located on the North side of the Fercho YMCA 200 1st Ave South, Fargo, ND. The route runs South through the Hawthorne School neighborhood for the first part of the run and connects with the bike/walking path along the Red River at Lindenwood Drive South. Continue South on the path for about 1.5 miles. Enter Lindenwood Park, and turn left on Roger Maris drive. Continue on Roger Maris Drive until you reach the turnaround point. Return to the Fercho YMCA on the same route as you went out. The run will finish at the Fercho YMCA.
